oil pressure sensor

OK...How in the hell do you get the oil pressure sensor off???
it is really in a hard to get to position!!

95 F150 ext cab 4x4 swb orp with 351 at 164,800

oil pressure sensor

There is a socket designed to remove oil pressure sending units . You should be able to find one at most auto parts stores .

depends on the motor, but if its a 302 it should be on the right side of the motor near where the fuel pump is *or should be, i'm goin old school here* or either near the oil filter, a 9/16 wrench should take it off.. or either a pair of pliers.. mine went bad too

If you can get ahold of the body of it with Channel Locks you should be able to spin it right out. Putiing the new on in should be a little easier than coming out was. Using a ton of words that would make a sailor blush helps sometimes too. I learned that working on the wifes Grand am (Grand Damn). Hate that thing.
