Instrument Cluster

I have seen some posts about the quality of the OEM instrument cluster backing of the dentside trucks. I have to take mine apart to change out some bulbs and was looking online for other options to upgrade. Has anyone installed the upgrade from Intellitronix? Does it just plug right in to the original harness? Price is like $395 for this but I think it looks kinda cool.

The original clusters are like brittle Styrofoam and definitely didn't hold up with age. I personally don't have experience with the intellitronix but they look great and several here talk highly of them

If you can do a bit of fab work, make your own gauge cluster with whatever style or type gauges your heart desires. Cost is usually far less than most of the aftermarket clusters and you'll have the satisfaction of having your own unique cluster.

Tons of info on the interwebz, plenty of threads on making your own cluster here as well as YouTube videos of multitudes of ways you can go about doing so in just about any car. Get creative and try your hand at something new. You might be surprised at how awesome one can feel when what they have created gets copied by others.

I’m pretty sure it’s not plug and play based on other threads I’ve seen here about it. Try searching “Intellitronix” on this forum.
