OK, here goes. I have this 2011 with 6.7 and the air conditioner will not get cold. I put gauges on it and it immediately heads to high pressure (400+lbs) and cycles the compressor. So I thought the expansion valve is clogged or bad. I replaced the expansion valve and again immediately went to high head pressure. The compressor was noisy so I decided to clean/replace/flush the whole system. I removed and replaced the compressor with new Ford (not reman), replaced the condenser from Rock Auto (Motorcraft), removed and flushed and cleaned all ac hoses. I also ordered another expansion valve again Ford parts. The only thing I have not replaced is the evaporator and I flushed and back flushed it out.
Still after all that I have high head pressure. So again, I replaced the electronic fan assembly, it is turning while running and seems to be turning about the same amount as my '15 does when it's running with ac on.
I am at wits end, Anyone have any suggestions? I have a AC background and this one is baffling me. I've checked everything I can think of short of replacing evaporator. If there were a clog in the system then the low side would go extremely low when the high side maxes out. That's not happening.
While the high side keeps going up the low side stays within a fairly normal range, it might be just a tad high but nothing like what I see on the high side. I also use a ac scale to weigh the amount of freon entering the system so I know it's not overcharged.
The filter is installed in the condenser and was included with the new condenser. I know that because I did order a new filter and when I went to install it there was a filter there already.
