Happy May Nevada! I keep forgetting to check in here.
What do I do while under house arrest? Since I am disabled, and spend most my time in front of the computer playing video games. I don't do anything different. I used to go to the store every two days on my electric scooter, but now try to make it three days. Problem is, the scooter doesn't hold enough groceries to last three days. And I just got my minivan back two weeks ago from being stolen over five months ago, and it is over heating. So until I can get that fixed, I try not to drive it much. It is a mystery to me why it overheats. The radiator was replaced (supposedly) with one from a salvage yard, and the thermostat was removed, it doesn't leak water now, but it still over heats. I checked the electric fans, they both come on when the AC is turned on, and when the needle heads for the "H" they come on. I was afraid at first that it was a blown head gasket, but there is no white smoke coming out of the tailpipe and the water level doesn't go down. I will have to take it in to a real mechanic now that I got my stimulus check.
I took it to the shop, and it turns out the ex-friend lied to me about swapping out the radiator. And he didn't install the starter correctly. So for $416, they will put in a new radiator, thermostat, and adjust the starter. I didn't ask, but I also expect them to put in coolant instead of straight water. In a way it makes me mad that I have to spend this much, but I am also relieved to know it will be fixed correctly now. The oxygen sensor also needs to be replaced, but that would have added another $200 to the bill which I cannot afford right now. I am trying to get my credit cards paid down, not push them back up to their limits again. Maybe I can get them to show me which O2 sensor is bad, and if I can do it myself, I'll buy one and do it. I bought one of those Haynes repair manuals for the Sienna at Autozone, so maybe I can use it to save me money in the future. They say the O2 sensor on bank 1 is bad, after doing a diagnostic on it. that is how they found out about the starter issue also.
Yeah, he borrowed the van for a day, and kept it 5 months... He also had my gun, which was stolen from my apartment the day I bought the van. That is why he is an ex friend. He is currently serving 25 to life for pointing the gun at police officers.

Well from the apartment, only an American flag. But when I got the van back, pretty much everything I had in it was stolen. Including the battery. He took my tools, first aid kit, battery booster, floor jack, sun glasses, registration, and disabled placard.
Happy Thursday Nevada. Well, I would enjoy the weather if it was not going to be 92 today... We are still in May right? I didn't sleep thru to august did I?
