elect troubles 88 f250 351w elect sys toasted
the prev owner let a check valve go and it toasted the wire harness in fornt of it then sold it quickly to me (sucker) it has proceded to burn up the main computer as well as many other parts before i found the cause now i want to retro fit to a carb and msd ignition. any input would be a god send thanks
(plan on a rebuild while down and out can any one tell be what cam i have it it now (stock) lift and duration? so i can compare to possable up grades.)

Love the MSD ignition. Get an Edelbrock for maintenance free operation or a Holley. The Holley's are great, but they are very sensitive to altitude, pressure, and weather changes. That's what makes them so good at the strip. You can tune them to the conditions at the track. You'll need to change out your in-tank fuel pump, or at least put a regulator in to drop the fuel pressure from around 40-45 to 6-8.
