I’m about to purchase a 1994 Bronco XLT, the interior is all intact but, I like a project/challenge and want to swap the interior. I e seen people swap it out to newer interior from F150s and explorers. My question is, what years can I swap the interior for a direct bolt up and what years can I swap the interior with some modifications? If so, what type of modifications? I thought about swapping the interior to a newer F150 but heard Bette results from explorer interior.
Explorer seats are a bolt in for the most part. some have used the stock bronco mounting brackets while others have made some minor mods to get them to function as is.
Expedition center console is a great adaption and easily done. Ive seen where a steering wheel has been done, unsure if any of the button functions worked though.
the Dash though is a tough spot and would require some fabrications. have you spent any time googling any of this?
This is exactly what I am looking to do with my recently acquired 95 XLT. Has a bench, needs to go. From what I gather, I need to get the mount frames from 90s F-Series buckets, then from there I could go with any OEM type seat, like mustang seats, etc. That's kinda what I gather.
