Looking for recommendations for tow bags. I like the Air Lift 5000 with internal jounce damper, but don't want to make the ride harsher when not towing. I've had the Firestone's in the past with no issues. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Had them on my 16 250, putting them on the new 250. They are a must for me and towing a 10,000# travel trailer. I haven’t noticed a stiffer rude unloaded. I would definitely recommend them!

I’d recommend reading both products’ installation manuals carefully before making your choice.
Yes, the AL comes with internal jounce stoppers, but the Firestone’s retain the OEM jounce stoppers.
IIRC, the AL installation requires moving/bending other OEM pieces, and, if your truck has a rear stabilizer bar (like ours), then hardware may need to be cut.
I installed Firestones on our truck and had to cut reliefs into the wheel well liners.
For the past 30 yrs, all of my trucks get Air bags. If you're looking for the "Best" Air Bags, consider PacBrake or Helwig Bags. The Brackets on my Helwig Bags were considerably Heavier Duty than my previous AirLift & Firestones Bags. You can also upgrade to Stainless Air Fittings and Braded Lines.
