Another from Virginia
Howdy!
New here, so figured this would be the best start. Picking up an old family member for a family toy project. 1975 F250 2wd with a 351m and a column shift 3 speed. It belongs to my step dad, who isn’t driving it anymore and was thinking of letting it just go to waste and scrap. My kids love the truck as do I so we are making a deal.
Plans are to swap the tires 351 for a 302x, likely keeping it carved for now. Have to see what trans is actually in it , would love to keep the column shift but floor may be best/cheapest /easiest. Plans also include dropping it and throwing on a set of 16” Steelers with some nice wide rubber. A potential autocross truck type thing. Who knows.. what’s for sure is it’s staying in the family.
So we will be here badgering with useless questions and searching for endless answers and ideas along the way. Hope y’all will join in the fun
