The Big “E”

2020 F350 Lariat 6.2l
Can anyone tell me what the “E” on the instrument cluster is?

Located bottom right near speedo...

Nothing in the manual (s)

I have no idea what this is for.

Thx, Bill

That is direction, E east, N north etc. I have no idea why it wouldn't change though, supposed to.

BTW you probably have the 6.7L diesel, not the 6.2 gas engine (as evidenced by DEF gauge and lower redline).

Haha! That is a pic I found on this forum-not my dash! It just happened to show the “E” and I do not have a pic of my dash handy...

I will check my instrument settings and see what is up.

Thx.

Unrelated, but I just noticed no 1 and 2 gear selection on the dash in the first picture. Must have got rid of that on the 20's.

The gear selection in vertical. Too many gears to display.

Im referring to the horizontal, to the right of the "M". The vertical is unchanged, aside from having 10 vs 6. (Not shown in any of the above photos)

Wow I never noticed 1 an 2 aren't there, just checked. This is the first Ford I can remember without at least the 1 and 2.

Yes-finally. With all the COVID-19 delays it has been a process. The good news is we got the truck home Friday eve and are very pleased. Bottom line was ~ 11% below MSRP.

Money saved is always a good thing, 11% off MSRP gets you a lot of gas. Now, go drive in a direction other than East. 🤔😉 Nice truck!
