vehicle starts in run position on ignition
What would be causing our 1995 E350 van to start when the key is in the run(on) position? I don't even have to push it all the way to the start position and it starts before I get there. Also when it is in the start position it does not spring back to the run position enough to disengage the starter. I have dash guages and radio in ACC and START position...but no dash guages or radio when just in the run position.We have replaced the key tumbler and possibly called the ignition module? (The part under the column that plugs in and has the lever on it that takes it into Acc/run/start positions. We are just baffled. Any helpful info is appreciated.
