Question Best Automatic drop down steps

Good day,
I hope everyone is doing well in these unprecedented times.
I have a '07 F350 crew cab. I bought it used, because it had extremely low miles on it, and was in overall excellent shape. However, it has about 10 inches of lift in it. And while it looks good, getting in and out can be problematic, especially for my height challenged wife. It has nerf style running boards.
What are the best automatic drop down steps out there. Not necessarily the most expensive, but ones that are reliable. They need to work in very cold weather, as we're in Northwestern Alberta.
And no, we don't use dog sleds to get around...
Any experiences and recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Thank's in advance,
Ken

we had the OEM amp steps on our 2012 F150, I’ll never own them again. Salt eats them alive. Not sure if there’s a company that makes them with greaseable pivots but that’s the only way I would consider them in a climate where they will be iced up all the time. Doesn’t matter how much silicone spray you work into them, it’s a losing battle.

personally a 10” lifted 1 ton I would look for some swing away RV type steps

I've got the amp steps as well on the wifes chevy and plan on installing a set on my F250.
But i live in SoCal so no salt/ice issues here. Just salt air living close to the beach.
as far as your lift. The wifes chevy has 9" of lift and 37" tires. And shes only 5 feet tall but gets in it just fine.
They do make longer arms for them to drop them down lower.
I did the install myself and it was fairly easy and straight forward, at least for me.

Longer arms for the wife or for the steps
