Xenarc vs. Silverstar

How many people have gone to the Sylvania Xenarc HID system vs. the less expensive SilverStar?

Hi noblebc and welcome to the forum

I guess maybe no one here has done that swap. You might try asking in the electrical forum which is a ways further down on the main forum page.

I had the silverstars in my last car. i thought they were a great improvement. I am not sure how much better they will be if you have the stock lenses on your truck. My last car had the clear lenses. The ones on my truck seem to be more frosted. Im sure it would still be an improvment over stock.

The Silverstars are good, but they are not comparable to the Xenarcs, which are true HID (aka: arc lamps). The Xenarcs are also an order of magnitude more expensive!
