Bed Mat Recommendations

I want a heavy duty bed mat for my 2019 F150. I'm leaning towards the Dee Zee bed mat. The Dee Zee is a 3/8" thick rubber based product. I want something at least this thick, form fitting, and heavy in weight. Your insights and recommendations would be appreciated.

Not exactly form fitting .. I use a 4'x6' Horse Stall Mat from Tractor Supply. It's about 1" thick and heavy as hell.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'll swing by TS and see if they have any in stock. It's worth a look.

I’m not sure how heavy it is but have you seen the F150 specific bed mat from Ford Accessories?

I know it doesn’t mean much but it also has the F150 logo embossed in it.

Same here with the TS mat....cheap enough and it's great.....easy enough to cut down for my shorter bed

The Ford bed mat and the DeeZee are very much alike. I have the Ford one because it was a blem and cost less then the DeeZee. Tractor suply usually has the DeeZee mats in stock.

The stall mat is great for impact absorbtion, but does not cover the areas around the fender wells only the floor between them. I use them on my utility trailer.

Thanks for the suggestion.

From the information I can find online, the Ford OEM bed mat is heavier than the Dee Zee mat. A local dealer rep told me that the Ford mat material is a full 3/8" thick. The Dee Zee mat includes the nubs in the thickness dimension. The dealer rep quoted me $150 plus tax for the OEM mat. Any suggestion for an online source that may offer a better price?

Thanks for the recommendation. I am definitely considering the TS option, and will look at these before buying anything.

Look up Fairway Ford for good prices and they also offer free shipping on many items.

I don’t know their number but they also have an eBay store with contact info.

I have the DEE ZEE mat along with the piece that goes on the tailgate. I'm very happy with them. The only negative is that the tailgate piece makes it pretty heavy and the wife doesn't like that.

Bed Rug Is My Answer

I have had three now, one in an F250 and two in F150's. In that rug, I have hauled everything from gravel to groceries and furniture. I like it because most things don't slide and it fets the bed exactly.

No problem.

I’m not sure about shipping but Jacky Jones Ford here in Cleveland GA has the best price I’ve seen.

I just picked up the Ford OEM one from my local dealer for $150. Showed them an online Ford dealer price and they matched it. I found some online for like $110, however freight was around $50, because of the weight.

I also have a spray in liner. Wanted the mat to keep the bed from being damaged and also looking good (OCD issues). The Ford mat on top of the spray liner looks Great and fits like it should.
