351C and 302 flywheels

From what i've seen so far, the flywheels off a 351C and an early 302 are the same. Has anyone else noticed this or can prove it? I'm tryin to find out if I can use a clutch type flywheel off a 302 on a 351C.
Thanks
Justin

Same here

I'm under the same impression, including 289 & 351W. I found an Ebay guy selling new steel 460 flywheels for $110. If they're available for other motors, I think it's the last time I'll spend $30 to resurface an iron flywheel. New $80 H balancers 289-400 from the same guy.

I don't know about the cleveland but the windsor is the same. I have a 302 flywheel in my windsor. Well, it came frome a 302 but since it's the same part number I guess it's now a 351 flywheel.

I can't prove it to you. But it's true. It has to be the early 302 though. Or any 351W will have the correct balance. Make sure you get the correct tooth count too.
28 ounce counterweight and 164 teeth will do you well.

I don't know about acc's but you can put cleveland heads on a 302 so I would think that the bolt holes must be the same. Water jackets are different though.

The bracketry is definately different. I tried to use the stuff from a 302 but it didn't work. I think the deck heights are different. I ended up finding a 351C in a junkyard that had the brackets I meeded.
