Exhaust woes - quick temporary fix?

So the truck (2008 V10) has been sitting for several months now due to inability to pass emissions (we don't really have emissions, but leaks will fail it in my county) due to multiple leaks. I've finally had the time to seek out all of these leaks, and have found three.

The first was where the Y pipe comes down to the intermediate pipe. It looked like it had come loose somewhat and didn't mesh anymore. When trying to tighten it, the bolts broke clean off. So, I've ordered a new pipe from there back to the muffler. No big deal they aren't expensive.

Now... I also have two leaks around the drivers exhaust manifold. We all know how that goes. I don't really have the time or cash to invest in that as well. So, what I need to know is, will something like this work:
Amazon Amazon

I don't drive this truck much. I've had it a few years and put less than 3000 miles on it, so even if this IS a temporary fix, I can live with that if it gets me by for some months or years. My only concern is, will this make it a huge pain in the *** to remove/repair the manifold later, or does this stuff clean up easy enough after it's had some age/heat exposure?

Thanks for any input.

If it's leaking because of broken studs, nothing short of "doing it right" will work. If it were me, I would try to remove the broken stud(s) without removing the manifold, and then put new ones in, and see if I can get a seal. However, removing broken studs is a crap-shoot. Some break off at the surface of the manifold, so it's easy to weld a nut onto the broken stud. Sometimes, they break off at the surface of the head.

You can use a gallon of glue from the outside, and it'll still leak.

Maybe someone else has some more ideas

Yeah I've seen the threads on manifolds. I'm leaking on 8 and 10, moderate on 8, large on 10.

Even if this stuff lasted a week, I think I could justify the $20 or so for a couple containers of it.

Are the studs broken? If still there and leaking “sometimes” they can carefully be tightened. I have done this successfully on my 06 V10 twice in my ten years of ownership.
A buddy of mine attempted the same glue patch repair with that same product with disappointing results. The manifolds and head thermally expand at different rates cracking the glue on the first highway drive and leaking start again. My 2¢.

That won't fix it. It's just going to make a larger mess to clean up, later. You have no way to clean the surfaces in the cracks where the leaking is happening. Stuff like this will not bond if the surface is dirty, and back pressure will just push it out, or push through it.
The only option to stop it from leaking is to fix it properly.

While I don't doubt you're right, I don't really have a better option than to at least try. Even if it slightly reduces it enough to get it through an inspection, it's worth it for me.

Like I said before, if I was using this truck all the time, I'd have already pulled the thing apart. I just can't justify the time and money right now for something I use a few times a year.
