My '76 high boy is that color as well. from what I remember, and could find out they are the same color. it was also called bright dark blue I believe.
I think the iridescent , poly and metallic terminology were just terms of the era they were in. they were all single stage and there was no pearl back then so you either had metallic or a solid that was it.
If you're trying to match your existing paint I doubt you're going to be very happy with anything off the shelf. even custom matching at a paint shop is a challenge.
My '76 is almost ready for paint, I think I'm going to have them shoot it with 2019 GM Deep Ocean Blue. it's a similar blue but with much more eye appeal. if you're doing a full repaint you might consider that or something like it. it will be much easier to repair should you ever need to as well. radial tires and modern base/clear paint are the two upgrades I consider acceptable.
