I have had very good luck resealing hydraulic cylinders IF I can get them apart. the 4' Harbor Freight pipe wrench helps...
...and way more heat than I would think prudent.
Then seals and packings from places like Hercules, you just order by diameter and dimensions. It's the only way to keep
older farm equipment sealed up, as the cylinders are long- discontinued. And the new seals come in much improved materials.

The piston was pisssing out the ram seal was able to raise it a couple feet but enough to work on it That bed is heavy !!!
i can get the seal kit 137.00 but probably half to have it done But cheaper than a new piston
