Flathead water pumps
Hey guys I'm just curious does anyone put a squirt of oil in there water pumps?......

The bearings are totally sealed after (IIRC) '48, when they switched to sealed cartridge ball bearings from the old bronze bushing type. The bushing types had oil cups on them.

I'm not sure where you would squirt oil? As long as you run antifreeze or something besides plain water, the pumps need no lubrication.
