LMC also shows the double/narrow belt pulleys. The original 1953 Ford truck uses the single, wide belt on the water pumps and generator, and a single, wide belt on the fan.
I bought reman pumps at NAPA back in '03. They are fine and leak-free after 17 yrs. But I understand nowadays, you have to give them your cores, and they send them off to be rebuilt, so it takes a while. There are also people who specialize in rebuilding pumps for flatheads, check around. I have heard nothing good about Speedway's aluminum pumps, just chinese junk.
I assume we are talking about flathead pumps? But Dobenator's signature says Y-block?
I've rebuilt many Flathead water pumps for my trucks. It isn't that difficult if you have a press and some mechanic inclination. You get to retain the Ford castings (and their marks) that way. I get the rebuild kits from Mac's.
