I have Previous knowledge of a 4banger nissan motor for my hardbody.
I got her on a stand nice and tore down. I plan on every gasket as well as timing chain.
I have been throwing the idea around about a cam. But I'm trying to stay on a budget and would rather pull from the junkyard if possible.
From what I understand I can drop in an e303 cam from a ho 5.0 and all I have to do is swap a few plug wires to ho firing order and I'll be golden?
This truck takes me to the beach on the weekends and maybe haul some crap home from home depot. It is not a work truck. I have other trucks for that.

Ummm . . . if the cam firing order changes, the crank firing order has to change as well. You might want to check out the "Small Block V8 (221, 260, 289, 5.0/302, 5.8/351W)" forum for lots of great advice on your engine build.
