Question Why Me

I threw a Brake Pad on my B II today. Very nasty noises. I figured it was time to do them right, so I bought new rotors, calipers, bearings and pads. I disassembled the good brake first to use as a template. Everything went good until it came time to reinstall the Cam Assembly. It will not reassemble! I've tried moving the adjusting nut around without success and really don't know where to go from here. Anybody out there know of some special trick or a step that I'm missing. This truck has to be mobile tomorrow it's my daily driver and work truck.

Disc Brakes, 4wd, Auto Locking Hubs. The Cam Assembly would be the Auto Locking Hub part. The Adjusting Nut is what you torque the Wheel Bearing down with.

That would be right. The bearings are Timkin sets and yes they're installed correctly. I think it must be an alignment thing with the splines and keyway. As soon as it warms up a bit I'll be back out at it.
