Hello all maybe some one can give me a little insite into regestering my 65 f100 - I moved to Alamogordo NM from LINY - Went to mvd to get a tag for my 65 in NY I had a transferrable regestration not a title so that was problem #1 when they did a title search it came up with a problem
So woman at mvd created a work order and sent it to SantaFe and could not tell me how long that might take
Has any one had this or can any one give me a bit of insite as to what to expect

I would look up NM MVD HQ in Santa Fe and speak to them directly. I have never been impressed with the MVD here, but perhaps an MVD Express could help. They are private and work for profit but that might be incentive enough for them to figure it out. Until the Corona Virus scare is over, no telling how long it might take. Good luck and post up what happens.

 

I agree call Santa Fe since you already went to the useless MVD. I only go there to deal with my drivers license!! Everything else use these guys, great customer service!!!! Southwest MVD

good news up date- i went to a title company that my brother used but they couldnt figure the no title/transferable reg. so i just sat on it. then one day...i get a call from the mvd telling me they can use the transferable reg as the title which is what it essentially is-made the appointment and 20 min later im all set with the patriot tag in hand-happy ending...
