Whats A Cab Worth?
i BOUGHT A 75 F-100 FOR 200 BUCKS AND THE CAB IS JUNK BUT THE REST MAY BE AS WELL BUT ITS A PROJECT THAT LOOKED LIKE FUN. THE CURRENT CAB MOUNTS ARE EXTREMELY RUSTY AND THE DRIVERSIDE DOOR SAGS BECAUSE ONE OF THE HINGES RUSTED OFF THE CAB AND THE INTERIOR IS COMPLETELY SHOT. A FRIEND FOUND ONE AT A JUNK JARD THAT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND IT COMES WITH THE FENDERS AND I GUESS MOST OF THE FRON END, HE SAID IT IS IN GREAT SHAPEAND I COULD GET IT FOR 4 TO 5 HUNDRED, MY FENDERS ARE RUSTY TOO I HAVE LARGE HOLES DIRECTLY BELOW THE f-100 ON EACH SIDE. IS THIS A GOOD DEAL? AND IM STILL UNDECIDED WHAT TO DO WITH THE BOX WHICH HAS SEEN ITS BETTER DAY. A FEW POINTERS WOULD HELP, AND IM STILL NOT SURE I WANT TO RESTORE THE WHOLE THING OR NOT BECASUE MY FIRST INTENTIONS WERE TO LIFT IT AND PUT BIG TIRES AND RIMS ON IT AND USE IT AS A HUNTING TRUCK, A FRIEND IS SELLING 35" TIRES WITH CHROMESPOKE RIMS FOR $100 AND HELL THROW IN THE 5" LIFT THAT IS A GOD DEAL IS IT NOT?

That doesnt sound too bad to me 400 bucks for the cab and front end. No doors with it though? Look around for other trucks for sale, sometimes you can pick up a whole truck for a couple hundred bucks and have alot of parts off of it. Just a thought though.

I was at a swap meet here in WI a few weeks ago and a guy had 3 73-79 cabs for sale. Gutted, but rust free, he wanted 500-700.
I got a spare cab with my truck and it's suposedly freshly painted. It's in a barn up the road and I've never even seen it. I should check that out some day.
