I think these would come in handy. Mine are all factory originals but reprints are readily available also. There is another repair manual in the series titled "Generating and Starting Systems 1933-1947". Yours is a very nice truck. My father had the same model in the early 50's used in his fuel oil delivery business. Joe.

Love the truck. I just inherited a 46' pumper that looks like the same body. I got my manual from faxon but it does not seem to have all the specific info needed for the car such as what kind of oil to use. Did you have any luck with other manuals?
