What year bed fits
I have a 2000 F250 7.3L Powerstorke 2wd single wheel shortbed 6'9". What year model beds will fit? My wife failed to negotiate a parking garage and the headache rack and the parking garage got into a fight. The parking garage won, the headache rack took no damage, but the bed is a disaster. I need to know what year models fit and where to get one for under $1000.

Any 1999-2016 Super Duty bed will bolt on.
2008+ beds will have slightly different body lines and fender openings, but the difference is minor.
2010+ Power Stroke trucks will have DEF filler cap space.
Your chances of finding a rust free bed for under $1000 are extremely remote.
