C4 Transmission Question
I have a 1979 F100 2wd with a C4 transmission that is bad. Will at C4 from a 1979 F100 4wd work in my truck or is the shaft a different length? Both are 302 v8. The seller says it is a short shaft. If not, what years/trans will easily work? I'm looking for a simple swap with few mods. I just want it back on the road. Thanks for your help!
