I put Bilsteins on my old '97 and I think only one has failed in about 12 years. On my '17 I did the BDS 2" level with Fox 2.0 shocks. The first shock failed after I think less than one year, so I had it rebuilt, which really didn't save me much if any over just buying a new shock. Today I see that another one of my rear shocks is leaking oil. I installed them 3.5 years ago. I don't think the ride is any better with the Fox than the Bilsteins, they just fail quicker and cost more. The next time one fails, I'm replacing them with Bilsteins.
