Just bought 5100's

Yes, they are a much better shock. The front doesn't cycle as much going over bridge transitions and we have some roadway here in Colorado Springs that perfectly matched the harmonics of the long bed. The 5100's really settled the truck down on that section of I-25.
Overall, they are a stiffer shock, but not in a bad way. It rides much smoother and better controls axle cycling. I wish I'd made the upgrade sooner, like within the first 100 miles of when I drove it home.

Same with my order, rear shocks showed up Tuesday and no status on the fronts as of yet.

Had the shocks in for a couple days now with a few hundred miles on the clock.
Great improvement over the stock shocks.
While I had both front shocks out, I went ahead and compared compressed lengths. The 5100 is roughly 5/16" longer than the stock shock, as I had suspected.

Still waiting for my front shocks to show, may have to call tomorrow but expect they are caught up in the current mess.

Overall good first experience with 4Wheel parts. $287 for the set, hard to beat the price.

The fronts showed up this past week and I installed them yesterday. Took a load of garbage to the transfer station and fueled up since we are under $2.00 a gallon right now. The shocks sure did smooth out the ride quality and the truck definitely feels more planted. All 4 OEM shock sure to compress easily and the truck only has 800 miles on it. Now just waiting on the Kelderman SS kit to show up and the front end suspension will be complete.

My main benchmark is a county road near my home that has to be the roughest paved road I've ever driven.
Before with OEM shocks driving this road was very painful, made my back hurt and the truck bounced all over the road. The 5100s took out the sharp jarring and helped with the bump steer a bit. Still firm but more planted on the road. I'm very happy with them, especially considering the price during the 4WP sale.

Hey, all. Based on this thread and a couple of head2head reviews, I am going with the Bilsteins. I have a 2018 F350 6.7 PSD. No snowplow set up. I want the 5100s. Does anyone have the part #. Bilstein's website is a bit wonky.
Also, anyone towed yet. We have a conventional trailer that's around 7500-8000 fully loaded.
Thanks all.

Installed mine over the weekend. Pretty easy, did it in the driveway, wheels on.. you need an 18 mm wrench, a 21 mm wrench, an 18mm socket and a 5mm Allen key. Compressing them is pretty hard by hand, I used a small floor jack and a piece of 1” thick wood on end. It fits up into the shock mount as you use the jack to compress the shock. I used a 13/16” wrench to hold the old front shock taking the nut off the top.
