Fuel tank float
The brass float attached to the end of the sending unit in my main tank is shot. Anyone know where to get a replacement? I think I've called everywhere in Seattle. It's for a '69 f250 camper special.

ask for a float for a 1992 ford explorer, (yes the suv) or go to your local ford tractor dealer or "new holland" as its called now and ask for a float for a old 1960 ford 4000 4 cyclinder diesel. these take the same float also.

You guys rule. The same dealer that said they didn't have it for the '69 pickup actually did have it when I asked for the '92 Explorer (the same float fits a lot of other models, too). The local Mustang place had it, too. Thanks for the help!
