Motor rebuild time!
I’ve a 99 f250 super duty with the ol 2v 5.4 and I’m finally gonna rebuild it, pulling the motor within the next couple days and right now I’m hunting for parts I need a intake manifold because it doesn’t quite sit flush and I’m also trying the figure if there is anything that’s not unreasonably expensive i can do to give it some more ***** keep in mine I’ve only got a couple thousand right now but I’m not in a big rush to get it done because I want to make sure I do it right I’m open to suggestions thanks in advance

current motor has around 250k but has been well maintained since I’ve had it cylinder walls aren’t scarred up she’s just a little tired previous owner liked to romp on it

Block internals weren't to bad just some scarring on the cam caps that I caused when I did the head gasket job last year, Sent her off to the shop earlier this week to be bored .20 over and re decked for the new heads

Machine guy caught the Rona while he had my block, finally got back to me though and I should be moving along shortly after still looking for a new intake manifold the one I have now is a FB5E-9424-8A or BA possibly it’s hard to tell also every intake I come across Is for the 4.6 but look identical to mine what out there for aftermarket? I need options
