I am giving serious consideration to buying a 2011-2016 F250 with a 6.2. I’d like an extended cab with a short bed, but I can’t seem to find any for sale. Was that combo ever offered? Where I live a 5.4 just isn’t gonna cut it power wise and I don’t want a Diesel. I’d really like to have the 3/4 ton for plowing, towing and higher bed payload. The long bed with extended cab could work but parking in the city is gonna be a real PITA my 1/2 ton in that combo is a pain as it is.

Yup that one on Denver Craigslist is the long bed. Using Cars.com and Craigslist I just wasn't seeing anything even as far away as Texas. White must be like 9 out of 10 of these trucks too! What ever happened to colors? Short Long
In my research for new trucks it seems like the 6.2 F-250 really fits what I want more than any other truck (Ford, Dodge or GMC/Chevy). I may end up getting a 5.0 F-150, as there are a lot more of those out there; It'd just be nice to have the extra payload of the 3/4 ton truck, especially the ability to put a camper in the bed. My current truck is approaching 200K and is an '06 and it's taken a beating hauling gravel, plowing etc. I don't tow much and our EB Flex tows pretty well (hauled a Gbody on a car trailer up the mountain no problem), so max tow rating isn't that important, payload and durability is more of consideration for me.
