I just had a pop-up gooseneck hitch installed in my truck. The installers told me before they put it in that it would make my truck bed have a slight hump in it. I hesitated but let them go ahead with the install.
when it was all done, sure enough, my bed is arched in the middle between the fender wells where the hitch is mounted underneath. I am wondering if anybody else has seen this or did my installers just not know what they were doing? thanks Mike
what hitch did you buy? i b ought a hitcm from curt manufacturing (pop up) and i installed it myself, and there is no "hump" in the bed. post in the towing forum also.
