Decoding 9" tags
Is there an app that decodes the diff tags for 9"?
I'm hoping to get the axle spline count on my wife's 1971 F100.
I'm swapping in my old 9" pumpkin from my 1969 Cyclone GT 428CJ. 4.30:1 Detroit Locker, Daytona pinion, N case. It's been sitting around for over 30 years and I think that it is high time I rebuilt it and used it.
It is setup for the 31 spline axles. I'd like to know if I need new axles or a different Detroit before I get involved in tearing things apart.

I think that it is a 9' with 28 spline axles.
I'll need to find some of the 31 spline axles.
There is a couple of locals who might be axle heavy...

There is no prefix of WDH .. There is WDM-AD, but this is a 9" w/a 8 3/4" ring gear, 3.50-1 ratio with 28 spline axle shafts.
Closest I can find is WDM-AG = 9" 3.00 with 28 spline axle shafts.
1ED = Assembled the 4th week (D) of May (E), 1971 (1).
