Cool Electrical???

Well first of all GLAD to be here now down to the dirt and mudd I have a 85 BroncoII 4x4 5 speed manual tranny 2.8 L V-6 engine. My problem seems to be that I can't seem to get power I have replaced the starter the starter relay and the battery. At one point it did start after a couple of cranks it blew out the battery I figured it was the starter put in another one fired up then BOOM everything (power wise gone) Threw in a new relay got it to run and two days later NATHA Is there some gremlin living in my electical system or am I missing the simple strand Some one help a bro out if you can

Welcome to FTE!!!

Have you checked the cables, they corrode inside and you can't tell. Does the starter spin out of the truck when connected to the battery? What do you mean by "blow out the battery"?

Ken my man thanks for the reply and yes the starter spins out of the truck also when I hook the battery up to the relay even without the key on you can hear the clicking of the starter with nothing other than the battery cables attached no ignition wire attached at once I thunk it was a welded open relay but for it to happen 3 times in a week Maybe could it be AutoZone Parts But cables are next to try got new ones now hope thats the problem but any other help a bro could use (Gotta have the Hawg Hauler Dude)

Sounds like the solenoid is messed up, I know you replaced it, or you have a short. have you tested for a dead short to ground in the system?
