Just got a new 2020 F 250 with the new 7.3 liter engine. I have 1,000 miles on it and there is a wire harness issue. They have had my truck for a month now. I’ve talked to ford and they can’t get a new harness for some reason. Was wondering if anyone else has heard or experienced this and what have you found out.

I would start looking at pursuing your states lemon law if it’s been over 30 days
It’s the main wiring harness that comes from the drivers side of the engine and goes to the passenger side post. They said that the truck could catch on fire so it can’t be driven until it gets fixed. I have talked to ford and the company that makes the harnesses for them are saying that these are on back order. So I am checking to see if anyone else is having the same problem that I am having.
How did you become aware of this, and how many vehicles are affected? I agree with some of the previous posts, lemon law it if you can, and get a new truck that doesn't have this problem.

a wrench light came on ( on the dashboard). Not the engine light. So I took it in thinking something simple. I have no idea how many are affected, that’s why I’m here just to see if I’m the only one or not.

Similar issue on my 2020 Raptor
Ended up being the plug into the ECM not fully seating. At first the said someone wired some stuff into the main harness..... Ah, yeah, someone did. They said to take it back to the upfitter who did the work. I asked them if they knew what upfitter switches and wire are.....
