I have a 2000 f350. I'm thinking of replacig the cab lights and perhaps the headlights with LEDs. Has anyone heard of problems being created when doing so?
Blinding when turning a dome light on while driving. I left those halogen but did replace courtesy lights with LED and they light up the cab brilliantly.
LED in headlight housings designed for halogen bulbs can be unpleasant for oncoming drivers. The light is scattered with poor cut offs so the improvement in brightness is deceptive.
02+ clear aero housings with an upgraded wire harness and 80/100w hella bulbs produce significantly better light than what came stock in 2000. If you want LED done right, check this out https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...tes-led-s.html
