20001 7.3 start issue when cold engine
1st, im a new member so i am honored to join this group.
2001 F-250 SD, 248k on truck, ive always kept it well maintained.
mechanic installed NEW OE injectors, new GP’s, gaskets/harness, Dieselsite “adrenilane HPOP, new cam sensor, new IPR, rebuilt fuel bowl, new HPOP lines, RiffRaff FRX regulator.
Ran absolutely perfect (like a brand new truck) for 1 week, now when you start it you have to keep your foot lightly on the accel pedal for a couple of minutes or it will start going rump, rump, rump, rump, untill it dies. Same scenario every time until you keep foot lightly on the accel and let it get warmed up.
where should i start looking to see what is going on. Mechanic is tied up right now and im not one to sit idly by
