My truck has close to 3k on it and I have zero issues. The 7.3,10 speed, 4.30 gears puts a smile on my face every time I drive the truck.

Exactly. Mine hasn’t blown up yet and I’m very much enjoying the truck, 5,300 miles and counting. This thread cracks me up.

Not one of my company trucks with the 7.3 has had any issues, and they given driven hard. Also a lot more annual mileage than the average person puts on their private truck. Fuel mileage is pretty much identical to the older 6.2 trucks, to close to tell any difference.

7.3L, 4:30 gears, 13,000 miles zero explosions. Almost half of the mileage was towing close to 10k lbs

We have had at least 50 so far hit 100k without serious issues. I will say just like the 6.8 trucks by the time they hit 100k they start to sound like it. All of our high mileage 7.3 trucks developed some form of exhaust manifold leak and the engines overall definitely had all the "New" taken off the engine. We will see how these trucks perform in the second hand market.

My highest mileage truck with a 7.3 engine in it only has 94000 kms on it so far. The drivers door window has failed, and was stuck inside the door for a few days till we had time to take it in to get fixed, and the windshield washer stopped spraying, the electric pump had to be replaced, and last problem with that truck was a broken shock, replaced all 4 with better shocks. It had been beat really hard about 20 days in a row hauling large jet fuel tanks in the box, up about the worst trail you could imagine when the shock snapped. Normal vehicles don't get abused like my company pickups do. I'm sure that had it been treated with normal use, the shock and window probably wouldn't have broken, the washer pump, who knows, maybe just a faulty one. I figure that every kilometer, or mile, put on my company pickups, is equivalent to about 8 by normal people.

So I purchased my F450 in May this year and it’s build date is 12/19 according to the door jamb sticker. I was wondering if this is something I should concern myself with. So far no CELs or signs of issues. It has 10,xxx miles on it and pulls about 10k every day. Thank you!
