Transmission Modes
I hate to admit this but I had no idea there were different drive modes on my truck until I hooked up the fifth wheel. When I selected tow haul on my 17 it just went straight to it. When I selected it on the new one it gave me several choices. I had seen mention of it in this forum but I thought it was for gas engines only. The manual explanation is kind of generic. Does anyone know what actually happens when you select normal or eco? Trying to understand what happens with the engine and transmission that makes a difference in how it performs.
