This appears to be a good product. I'm concerned that the solar power may not be good for the long term.
Has anyone installed these lights and thoughts about them?
Thanks to all replies. www.caboveramerica.com
They've come up before. I still haven't seen a review from an owner here. I installed cab lights in a truck years ago. $10 of wire, silicone sealant, and a few hours -- easy. I'd never drop $400+ on cab lights. I'm not a mechanic and I don't run a shop. But, I have a drill, a tape measure, and hours of free time on weekends.
From the product page you linked to: "Any cab light system is not inexpensive"
Umm, the factory cab light system is $90. Installed. That's inexpensive. Try again, Cab Over America.
