Wondering if there is any difference in the steering between the 2019 & 2020? My truck is a 19, crew cab, 6.7L and adaptive steering. I love how tight the steering is on it. The company I work just replaced one of the trucks I use with a new 2020 Super cab, 6.2L gas. The steering on this one is WAY different than my 19. It seems like it has lots of play in it. Is this normal on the 2020’s? There may have been a previous tread on this.

My 20 with adaptive doesn’t feel loose at all, but that’s my opinion and I don’t have anything to compare it to.
What trim level was the truck? All trim levels but the XL come with the new electro hydraulic steering. Everyone that has driven one said it feels like rack and pinion not lose at all
My 17 had adaptive steering and was so hard to turn I sold it after 3 months and went back to a 16. 16 was way too loose so now I have a 2020 on order it feels about like the electric power steering on my f150

Mine is a XLT and the steering is light even with the Tremor package. In a 2020 Tow test TFLTruck said, "It was the best steering Ford he ever drove". He liked the steering a lot and in the scoring gave it praise.
