E4OD With No Overdrive

Has anyone ever put one of the B&M Shift Improver kits in an E4OD? The kind that you have to pull the pan and valve body to install. I put one in my '95 F 350 4x4. Ever since I put it in I have had no overdrive. At this point I wish I never would have bothered putting it in. It improved the shifts in 1,2, and 3 in high range, but when I put it in low range when I am plowing snow, it shifts so hard it feels like the driveline is going to leave the truck.

Also, I installed it in the tow or RV mode. I didn't need the race mode. Just trying to firm up the shifts a little and prolong the clutch life a little and look what I get.

Called B&M about it and they said it probably would be the solenoid valve body. Said to take it to a shop and see if they could pull any codes from it to find out for sure. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

If anyone has ant ideas let me know.

Thanks,

Steve
