progress and question
It has been a great weekend (long), the 390 is sitting on its newley fabed mounts in the f-3, everything else, (rad, kickdown, throttle, look like they will work, such a great day.
I have a Q.. The doner truck had a hanger bearing. Do I need to use a hanger , or should I just have a driveshaft made to fit as a one piece shaft?????
Anyone know the recipy for 8 bolt front disks.
Have a great day..

There does not seem to be any problems that I can see.
The sump clears the I beam with a inch to spare. The rear mount as a from scratch fab. The front ones are half original towers, top half, with 1/4 plate on the bottom which returns to the bottom frame rail. Looks to be plenty strong. Even the exhaust will clear with the original manifolds. Seems to eazy, but its in.
Good luck on yours.
Paul.
the F2's had a 2 piece driveshaft, I'd assume (god I hate using that word) that the F3's had the same thing.
My truck currently has a 1 piece driveshaft from a Lincoln in it that a shop cut down to size without having to use the hanger.
