original style bolts

Does anyone know of a source to buy in bulk the original style 5/16"-24X1" bolts that are used to bolt up all the front sheet metal and don't charge an arm and a leg for them..

Boy, you are asking for a lot there. I never found them reasonably priced. So, I went to the hardware store and bought bolts by the pound. They are coarse thread, but for the amount of money I saved it was worth it.

It's hard finding the flange head bolts up here in fine thread and would like to keep with the original style. Midfifty sells kits where at least the bolts are correct but generally ship United Parcel Service which is outrageous coming to Canada, US mail is much easier on us.

I'm just trying to eliminate all the washers and like the fine thread that hold better than the course..

The originals weren't zinc but I could live with them, great price but shipping from Australia might get frightening..lol

Free shipping in the US. Maybe you can have a mule transport them across the border.

Do you have Fastenal in Canada? They ship them to your local store at no charge.

There is one 300 miles from me and not very helpful and extremely expensive. I managed to get all I wanted through Midwest
