Input/Recommendations Desired (303A under consideration)
We're giving hard consideration to a '20 MAX Limited Stealth (303A) 4x4 - we are actively looking for a White one.
We're coming from a '17 Platinum F350, Crew Cab, Long bed 4x4, 6.7L....I'm disappointed in the 6.7L diesel for many reasons (emissions is killing the mileage...love the truck but just are using it like a truck should be used).
Any features that are MUST haves on the Expedition MAX?
Issues that should give me pause or things to avoid?
HD towing package which gives you the brake controller, 3.73 axle ratios, and, better yet, the two-speed transfer case. I also prefer the convenience of the second row bucket seats although it's crazy that they charge you extra for them since you're giving up a center seat and receiving just two armrests.
Yeah we prefer the bucket seat option, I may even pull one of the seats to ease access to the rear most seat.
On our truck I performed a few ForScan changes and some minor mods (one small light bar in the front license plate area), also painted the door handles and mirrors.
Additional questions for all:
Any pattern failures or know issues?
What mods are y'all doing?
Take a look at the “special edition” package available on the limited Max. It includes the trailer package & a lot of the stealth package features at a big savings. We just received our star white special edition & it is stunning. Much better ride than our previous 2018 Expedition Max also.
