I can't find that tag in my books but I can tell you 3.07 is gear ratio, and is probably a Dana d7ta- is 1977. Take a picture of the warranty tag on the drivers side door and I can tell you what it came with.

It is off my 77 F100, as far as I can tell it looks like a Dana 44 rear end. It's just an odd looking tag.....

Dana 44, probably a limited slip as Dana 44s were LS, Ford 9ers open in "the day".

See post 8:

EDIT See posts 6 & 7 below.

Rummaging around a bit, I find the Dana 44 as the LS option for '66 to '68. The hits on late '70s axles like this one don't mention LS.

99% chance you are correct.

3.07 is the gear ratio
d7ta-b3f is the ford designation for axle parts (d7t= 1977 truck)
751400-1 is the Dana BOM (bill of materials) so you can search Danas website to see what all that axle was put under. (This BOM denotes Ford F100 Dana 44)
MEX - not sure cz this spot is different depending on axle tags but this could be the assembly plant code which would be Mexic built.

Also if you want more opinons, this jeep guy had your same axle tag. info was given to him as the same, 77 f100 dana 44 built in mexico

Dana 44 with Limited Slip: 1959/67 F100. Some 1976/79 F100/150's have Dana 44 rear axles with/without Limited Slip.

D7TA-B3F is not listed in the 1973/79 truck or car (Bronco) parts catalogs. US/Canadian Dana BOM numbers begin with 6

13 years as an FTE member, I've never seen a BOM number beginning with 7.

So, this axle is from a vehicle that was assembled in Central or South America, probably Mexico.
