Have you looked at your tailshaft housing?? It is possible that there are no mounts for a shifter.

If the tail shaft doesn't bolt on, you can fabricate a bracket from the front trans to bell housing bolts.

1963 uses a different 3 M/T than 1961/62. Last year for a 3 M/T with floor shift: 1952.
