04 6litre issue
I have an 04 6 liter and have a brown sludge in my coolant..From what i have read i suspect my oil cooler is packed it in.Can somebody pls tell me how difficult it is to replace it myself and if there is somewhwere on here i can get instructions on how to get er done...thx guys

I would also do a cooling system flush and change the oil and filters. Stick with Motorcraft filters and oil cooler kit for best results. There is a 6.0 Tech Folder up at the top of the 6.0 section with tons of links and how-tos. Can’t go wrong much with Diesel Tech Ron videos.

Watch Ron's video about 4 times. Take in all the little tips and tricks. It is a bit long but not a minute is wasted on babbling. I did mine myself, (2004.5 6.0) about a year ago and went smooth. Have ?'s just ask these gentlemen are very good with 6.0's
Definitely go with Ford parts on all. You will not need a pro tool box to do it eather. Like I said watch the video a few times and you'll be alright.
