Hello I am Building a 53 panel . It has an old gasser type front end. I am wanting a nicer slide then full flip. Is their someone that can help on this
Here are a few pics of a power tilt setup that I saw on a early Chevy truck at the Big Bear show some years ago. The owner said that he bought the mechanism from a vendor here in SoCal and added that the source is no longer available. The tilt system worked flawlessly, slid forward about 5 inches (as I recall) and then tilted up. What also impressed me was how quiet the motor/pump was while lifting/dropping the frontend. I hope that these pics can help you, sorry I don't have more specifics.
