Im looking for the rubber flooring for my 65 F100 3 speed on the column. The original one has the "Bolt and Gear" on the trans hump. Does anyone know if someone makes new mat with that symbol on it? Were have you guys order one from?
Ford made an excess of some of those new mats back in the day. Now they are often called NOS or New Old Stock. Nobody reproduces them as far as I know since demand would be fairly soft and there was a lot of variety. For example, the 4x4 trucks used a mat with two gear and lightning bolt symbols - one in each foot well and no symbol on the hump. Here's an NOS one of those. That's probably the only way to find a new one.
Does anyone have a source for reproduction rubber floormats at all? I'm just looking for the style that cover the front half of the floor, regardless of the bolt and gear. It's sold out at the usual suspects as far as I can tell. Maybe someone has one they've bought for a stalled project?
At one time, Carpenter reproduced the pairs of the 1960/64 Galaxie accessory floor mats. These will also fit 1965/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD (no cab step).
But Carpenter has now discontinued these mats, so whether he still has any, I don't know.
These mats were originally available in black, blue, green, red, tan and white. Had the Ford crest in white on all excerpt the white mats, the crest was black.
Before Carpenter reproduced them, a guy bought an original black pair on ebay for a grand! I bought an original red pair on ebay for my 1963 Galaxie 500XL hardtop that was painted Rose Beige.
